Housing Advice Officer

Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Housing Advice Officer to join our newly restructured team. In this role, you will provide a statutory homelessness and housing advice service, focusing on preventing homelessness and conducting statutory homelessness assessments. You will work closely with senior officers and managers to deliver an efficient, front-line service that aligns with the Council’s vision, core values, and strategic priorities.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a School Crossing Patrol Supervisor to join our Schools’ Sustainable Travel Team within the Public Transport Service. You will be part of a busy and friendly team who work with schools to encourage sustainable and active travel by promoting and providing a number of in house and external initiatives all designed to change behaviours towards a car-free school run. Providing School Crossing Patrollers at some of our busiest schools helps to provide a safe route for children to get to school.
