Nurture, Wellbeing & Mental Health Lead - Oak Green School

Overview
Would you like to work with young people who need support with their social, emotional mental health? We are looking to appoint a caring and professional nurture lead to support pupils with their well-being.
The successful candidate will work with our pupils in the nurture room establishing good relationships with, and acting as a role model for them.
You must have some relevant experience and qualifications involving Theraplay and Nurture Group training. A knowledge of children’s mental health would also be an advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a big difference to children's lives in a calm and nurturing environment.
Term time only
Salary Type: Bucks pay
Salary details: £21,383 to £22,937 Bucks Pay Range 3 depending on skills and experience
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 32.5. 08.30 – 15.30, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks a year.

● Running sessions for small groups and individual pupils
● Forming positive relationships in a safe space in which pupils can thrive
● Undertaking pupil record keeping
● Promoting good pupil behaviour
● Liaising with DSL regarding Safeguarding
