Overview

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our amazing team. Initially working in KS1, you will be working alongside teachers and other teaching assistants to support teaching and learning in Year 2.

Salary: Bucks Pay Range 2: 11-15, Actual salary £7,691-£8,355 (depending on experience)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part time 13 hours per week, Mondays & Wednesdays, term time only 8.30 am-3.30 pm (½ hour lunch break).

  • To contribute to the overall ethos, aims and work of the school

  • To give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the  
    curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement

About you

As a Teaching Assistant you would:

  • Work closely alongside a class teacher and year group leader to support teaching and learning in the classroom
  • Work with small groups and individual children across the curriculum
  • Teach Read Write Inc phonics sessions
  • Supervise children and support their play at playtime and lunchtime
  • Support class teachers to ensure a positive, safe learning environment
  • Prepare and maintain classroom materials, resources and displays
