Overview
Robertswood School is looking to employ a Finance, HR and Premises officer who is an inspirational, friendly and driven individual, who can support our children in achieving their goals. Our successful applicant will be enthusiastic, innovative and have the necessary knowledge and skills for delivering inclusive, high quality learning.
Term time only: Yes - 39 weeks a year
Start Date: from Monday 5th October
Salary Details: Bucks Range 2 £26,522-£28,742, £13.75 - £14.90ph dependent upon experience
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Part-time, Monday to Friday 08:30-16:15 - 35 hours a week

Robertswood School is a welcoming school set within the leafy village of Chalfont St Peter. We are a two-form entry school, educating children from Reception through to Year 6. We are delighted to also have the benefit of a Nursery for over 3 year olds. We currently have around 400 children on roll.

About the role
General Duties
1. Promote the welfare of children and support the school in safeguarding children though relevant policies and procedures.
2. Promote equality as an integral part of the role, respecting differences, and treating everyone with fairness and dignity.
3. Comply with school health and safety policies, procedures and rules, taking reasonable care of self and others.
4. To be the first point of contact within the office
5. To provide appropriate general secretarial support and admin/clerical support:
6. Any duties which reasonably fall within the purview of the post, which may be allocated by the Headteacher or School Business Manager after consultation with the postholder.

About you
Qualities of the candidate:
• support the ethos and vision of the school
• minimum requirement of GCSE english and maths qualification (Grade 4 or above)
• have good working knowledge of excel and word
• have confident IT skills so as to navigate school computer based systems
• be experienced in Human Resources
• have an eye for detail
• flexible and willing to collaborate as part of a supportive team
• be able to organise their own workload to ensure that deadlines are met
• be a problem solver
