About the role
The Buckingham School PE Department is looking to recruit a PE Technician to join the PE Department from September 2026. Applicants should be motivated, confident, and supportive with good interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the physical education department, classes and extracurricular activities. As a PE Technician, you will collaborate closely with teachers and students to provide technical assistance, maintain equipment, and contribute to the overall success of our PE curriculum and extra-curricular programme.
The post holder will actively promote the PE Department within the school and within the wider community, ensuring displays and social media activity is exciting, engaging and current.
You will need to be organised with the ability to use email and computer software packages.
A willingness to drive the school minibus would be a distinct advantage, but not essential.
The PE Technician will work closely with the PE Team, reporting to the Curriculum Leader. You will be joining a motivated and enthusiastic team, looking to provide students with as many enriching and positive opportunities as possible on their journey here at The Buckingham School.
