Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Chemistry Technician to join our successful Science Department. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, the successful candidate will provide technical and practical support to staff and students, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of Chemistry lessons.
Salary: Pay range 3 £29,114 to £31,230 FTE, Actual Salary for 14 hours per week - £9,109 to £9,771
Contract: Permanent
Hours: (14 hours per week over 2 days/Term Time only – 38 Weeks)

About the role
As a member of our thriving Chemistry Department, the Technician plays a vital role in providing technical support for the delivery of the Chemistry curriculum and management of the Department's resources, including through supporting practical lessons. We have flexibility with your start time (from 8am – 9.30am) and with days of the week.

About you
The successful applicant will be well suited to preparing Science materials, lessons and practical activities and will enjoy providing our teachers with great customer service.
The Chemistry team are friendly, collaborative and do a superb job, and so this is an opportunity to be right at the heart of this fabulous team.
