About us
At Naphill and Walters Ash School, we value high standards and achievement. We encourage our children to think independently, make links in their learning and to respect the world they live in. Most of all, we encourage children to have a positive approach to learning as this is something that they can then take with them wherever they go.

About the role
Our school office is a lively place. It's where parents come with questions, children arrive when they're not quite feeling themselves, phones ring, emails arrive, and a hundred small but important things happen every day.
We're looking for someone who can bring calm, organisation and a friendly face to all of that. You'll be the first point of contact for many people — pupils, parents, staff and visitors — so how you do things matters just as much as what you do.
You'll be answering calls, managing information, supporting day-to-day admin, and helping the school run as it should. It's varied, sometimes unpredictable, and definitely not a sit-back-and-wait kind of job.
What you'll find here:
- a supportive team
- a positive school community
- a workplace where people look out for each other
School offices can be busy places — but they also sit at the heart of everything. If you enjoy being part of that, you'll fit right in.
About you
We're looking for someone who is:
- friendly, calm and professional
- organised and detail-focused
- confident communicating with a wide range of people
- proactive and able to use their initiative
- you'll need to be comfortable using IT systems (Microsoft Office in particular).
Experience with SIMS or working in a school is helpful, but not essential — we can support you to learn.
Other information
We’d encourage you to get in touch or come and see us — it’s the best way to get a feel for what we’re like day to day.
