About the role

We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in financial and administrative practice, but more importantly, someone who can use those skills with confidence and purpose. You will bring experience of managing budgets, handling financial processes or working within a busy office environment, alongside excellent organisational, numerical and IT skills. You’ll be someone who notices detail, manages competing priorities calmly and takes pride in getting things right.

While experience in a school or public sector setting is helpful, what will really set you apart is your mindset: you’ll be curious, reliable and quietly decisive, with the ability to interpret information, solve problems and keep systems running smoothly. You’ll understand the importance of safeguarding, confidentiality and professionalism, and be committed to continuous learning as part of a team that works together to create the best possible environment for pupils and staff alike.

About you

We’re looking for someone who thrives on bringing order, clarity and purpose to a busy environment — someone who enjoys joining the dots between finance, people and systems to make a real difference to how a school runs day-to-day.

You’ll bring strong experience in financial and administrative processes, alongside the confidence to analyse information, spot opportunities and ensure best value. Just as important is your mindset: you’ll be proactive, solutions-focused and quietly influential, able to build positive working relationships with colleagues at all levels while maintaining absolute professionalism and discretion.

Experience in a school or public sector setting would be an advantage, but what really matters is your ability to think ahead, take ownership and contribute to a team whose shared aim is to create the best possible environment for children to learn and thrive.
