Overview
Due to the continued expansion of Heriatge House School, and an increase in numbers of learners on roll, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant to join our outstanding team.
We are looking for someone who is committed to educating, motivating and celebrating learners with special educational needs and disabilities. You will be working closely with the teachers and other LSA's to enhance the learning experiences of small groups of learners in a classroom environment. This is a permanent position working term time only (plus 5 inset days).

Salary Details: BP Range 2 £26,522-£28,742 pro-rata (Actual Salary £20,236-21,930)

Heritage House School is a special school for learners aged 2-19 with severe learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions and sensory/multi-sensory impairments. Our aim is to enable children and young people to learn and achieve within an enriching, relevant, stimulating and enjoyable curriculum. In doing so, we will ensure our children and young people enjoy educational and social experiences which will prepare them for life beyond Heritage House.

About the role
You will be joining a dedicated and talented team, working closely with teachers to enhance the learning experiences of small groups of learners in a classroom environment.

The role is working 33.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only with an additional 5 days for training
About you
We are looking for someone who is adaptive, creative, enthusiastic and dedicated to putting our learners at the heart of everything we do.
The successful candidate will be a team player, flexible, calm and caring.
Experience is desirable but not essential but you must have a willingness to learn.
