About the role
We are looking for a fantastic early years teacher to join our team in a part-time, job share role (2 days per week), ideally working Tuesday and Wednesday or Wednesday and Thursday. This is a fixed-term contract for one academic year, starting September 2026, with a salary on M1-M6. There is the possibility of this becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our supportive early years team, including shared PPA time to plan collaboratively and ensure the very best outcomes for our children. You will be joining a warm, welcoming school community with dedicated staff, excellent support and training opportunities, and wonderful children and families.
We are a unique school that truly believes in the power of play, where children learn, grow, and thrive through rich, play based experiences. If you are passionate about Early Years education and want to be part of something special, we would love to hear from you.
About you
We are looking for a warm, friendly and enthusiastic teacher who truly loves working with children. You will bring energy, positivity and a smile to each day, creating a nurturing and engaging environment where every child can thrive.
You will be a strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to the life of a small infant school which is very much part of the community. Flexibility and a willingness to 'muck in' are essential, along with the resilience and adaptability needed to support young learners in a busy classroom.
A good understanding of how children learn and develop, particularly through play, is key. We are seeking someone creative, reflective and passionate about delivering high quality, play based learning experiences that inspire curiosity and joy.
Above all, you will be committed to making a difference, building strong relationships with children and families, and embracing the unique opportunities that come with being part of a supportive school community.
