Overview

Due to the continuing expansion of Heritage House School, we are looking for an Administration Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This is a very exciting opportunity for you if you are someone who wants to develop a new role and be part of our excellent team.

Salary: Bucks Pay Range 3 £28,129 - £30,174 pro-rata (Actual Salary: £22,573.52 - £24,214.63) based on existing skills and experience

Working Pattern: 39 weeks (term time only plus 5 INSET days)

Working Hours: 35 hours per week (8.30am to 4pm with a 30-minute unpaid break)

Contract Terms: Permanent

Term time only: Yes

Salary type: Bucks Pay, Range 3

Hours: Full-time

Heritage House School is a special school for learners aged 2-19 with severe learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, and sensory/multisensory impairments. Our aim is to enable children and young people to learn and achieve within an enriching, relevant, stimulating and enjoyable curriculum, ensuring they enjoy educational and social experiences which will prepare them for life beyond Heritage House school.

About the role

You will be an initial point of contact for visitors and communications with the school and manage manual and computerised records and information systems in relation to the role, supporting with a variety of administrative functions of the school. This is a busy, varied and exciting role.

About you

We are looking for someone to join us who is flexible, remains calm under pressure, who is professional with excellent organisational skills.

Experience of working in a school office is desirable, but not essential.

You will have strong administration skills and experience.

You will be able to prioritise your workload effectively and work to deadlines.

It is essential that you have excellent word processing skills, and good knowledge of ICT systems. Multi-tasking and with a friendly and positive approach would be a key asset.
