Salary Details: £16,511-£17,110 per annum (FTE £23,996-£24,950)

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Part-time 30 hours per week, 8.45am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday

About the role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to pupils with SEN, helping them engage with learning activities and achieve their potential.
  • Assist the teacher in adapting resources and strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Support pupils in developing confidence, independence, and social skills.
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment across different learning settings.
  • Carry out clinical procedures following training and competency, signed off by registered nurse, through mutual agreement
  • Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils
  • Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with established policy and encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour
