Salary details: BP 1B.6 to 2.15 pro-rata depending on experience and qualifications (£17,400 - £20,200)

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 INSET days)

About the role

We are seeking a committed and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join our small specialist provision supporting approximately eight children from Reception to Year 2. The pupils have a range of additional needs including autism, learning difficulties and social communication challenges.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help create a calm, structured and supportive environment where each child can thrive. You will assist with personalised learning, communication development and social‑emotional support, ensuring every child can access the curriculum and make meaningful progress.

About you

You will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) relevant Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification - preferred but not essential
  • Experience of working in a School or Early Years setting
  • Minimum of English and Maths GCSE
