Contract Type: Fixed Term - 12 Months

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3:15pm (31.5 hours per week)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and ambitious teaching assistant to join our friendly team. If you are looking for a new opportunity, exciting challenges, a great team and amazing children to work with then please join us.

Responsibilities include:

  • organise and manage safely the learning activities, the physical environment and the resources for which you are given responsibility
  • communicate effectively and sensitively with pupils to support their learning
  • use changes in voice and intonation to motivate and interest pupils
  • build and maintain successful relationships with children, treat them consistently with respect and consideration and be concerned for their development as learners
  • Actively work to uphold the values and policies of the school

About you

We would welcome applications from people with classroom experience, holders of NVQ 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or graduates who are looking to go into teaching eventually.
