Overview
Due to an internal promotion we are looking for a School Administrator to join our friendly office team.
As a key member of our administrative team you will play an integral role in supporting staff, pupils and families, helping to ensure the smooth and effective running of the school.

We are looking for someone, 3/4 days per week, 08:15am- 3:30pm. This is a term time only role, actual salary between £11,597 -£16,757 dependant on hrs and experience.

About the role
This is a diverse role with no 2 days alike.
Full training will be provided for school specific IT systems.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
- On-rolling pupil admissions
- Handling confident information in line with GDPR policies
- Updating pupil records and data on SIMS, including attendance information.
- Giving and receiving routine information from parents and other professionals
- Assisting with welfare of pupils as required
- Assisting with letters/ParentMail's sent home to parents
- Administering medicines
- Fire Marshall
- Organising Open Days
- Assisting with the administration of the online payment systems, ParentMail, for example school trips and club payments
About you
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to issues that arise
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise to meet deadlines
- Ability to use initiative and take action accordingly
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of Word & Excel, spreadsheets and presentation software
- At ease learning new software and IT systems.
