We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to work in our popular Pre-School. Our school is set in stunning grounds, offering exciting opportunities for inside and outside learning. The school ethos is one of nurture, all members of the school community are part of our school family.

Salary: Bucks Pay Level 2 or 3 dependent upon experience

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time (although there is also an opportunity for part time hours)

About you

You will have previous relevant experience, an EYFS qualification (NVQ level 3 or equivalent in childcare) and be able to demonstrate high level organisational skills, commitment and passion to ensure that every child in our pre-school is able to reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate:

  • Is highly effective in their current work with children
  • Demonstrates positive and caring relationships with all children
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and shows initiative
  • Has a secure understanding of the EYFS framework and its statutory requirements
  • Has experience of planning learning and play activities, understanding the central role these play in pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
  • Has a passion for both indoor and outdoor learning
  • Ensures a safe, secure, welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Demonstrates a positive partnership with parents
  • Is innovative in seeking new opportunities and experiences and is committed to ongoing CPD
