We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join our nurturing and supportive school community to cover a maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a vibrant group of learners and contribute to their final year in primary education.

Contract type: Fixed term – 2 terms (January – July)
Hours: 4 days

About the role
- Teach and inspire a Year 6 class, ensuring all pupils are engaged, challenged, and supported to achieve their full potential.
- Plan and deliver creative and inclusive lessons that promote a love of learning.
- Prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school and for end-of-Key-Stage assessments.
- Work closely with colleagues across our two sites to share best practice and uphold our strong, nurturing ethos.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience of teaching in Key Stage 2.
- Has a sound understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.
- Is reflective, creative, and passionate about enabling every child to succeed.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and strong interpersonal skills.
- Is committed to fostering a positive, caring, and inclusive learning environment.
