Salary Details: Bucks Pay Range 2 - 3, Actual salary range £25,625 - £30,174

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Security & Access: Acting as a key holder, responsible for the security, locking, and unlocking of the school buildings and site.
  • Maintenance: Undertaking a wide variety of minor repairs and general maintenance tasks (e.g., plumbing, painting, joinery) as directed by the Estates Manager.
  • Site Management: Ensuring the school grounds and buildings are consistently clean, safe, and well-presented.
  • Health & Safety: Assisting with maintaining H&S compliance, including regular checks and risk assessments.
  • Teamwork: Being a proactive part of a dynamic maintenance team, working together to maintain and improve the site.

About you

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in a trade, or solid, demonstrated competence in general maintenance, basic DIY, and minor repairs.
  • A calm, positive, and highly flexible approach, comfortable with varied responsibilities where every day is different and very busy.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail and presentation.
  • Reliable and confident in following all relevant Health and Safety procedures (e.g., COSHH, manual handling).
  • Strong team-player mentality with effective communication skills to liaise with staff, students, and external contractors.
