Dr Challoner's Grammar School is seeking to recruit to our Examinations Manager role, to start ideally 1 December or sooner. This is a permanent position, working term time plus two weeks during August

Term time only

Salary Type: £30,875 - £33,140 pa fte

Salary details: £26,373 - £28,308 (35 hrs); £28,257 - £30,330 (37.5 hrs) pa pro rata

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 35 - 37.5 per week, term time plus 2 weeks to be worked during August.

About the role

In this role you will be responsible for the efficient and effective running of our examinations within the school. You will be supported by a team of invigilators, led by a senior invigilator, who work collaboratively to ensure that the exams are conducted in accordance with the school procedures and external exam regulations.

About you

The successful candidate will have strong data processing skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines. You will have the ability to build good working relationships with staff, students and invigilators and to liaise effectively with examination boards to meet the requirements of the exams cycle. Experience of working within a school or across examinations would be beneficial but not essential.
