About us
Family Learning works with parents and carers to give them the confidence and knowledge to support their children's learning. We work with parents and children from 1 to 15 years in Early Years settings, Family Centres, schools, and community venues. We run courses both for the parents on their own or intergenerational where their children attend.
About the role
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work with parents and their Early Years children in intergenerational sessions in the Aylesbury/Chesham area.
The Early Years courses we offer focus on early reading, language development, and healthy active lifestyles. We focus on encouraging parents to interact with their children, giving them practical ways to support early development and the foundations to be ready for nursery and school. 2-hour sessions take place during mornings and afternoons in Family Centres and other community venues, mainly in term time.
About you
Do you have experience of working with children? Are you enthusiastic about helping parents support their children’s learning?
Do you wish to support on courses for approximately 10 hours per week?
