Overview

Brill C of E School is a small and friendly village school at the heart of the community. We are seeking to recruit a versatile and enthusiastic School Receptionist to join our friendly & happy team at Brill C of E School, a Stand-Alone Primary Academy from September 2025. This is a diverse and varied role reporting directly to the Headteacher. The ideal candidate will provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact for visitors, parents, students, and staff, while also handling a variety of administrative tasks. We take pride in our school and our pupils are well-behaved, eager to learn, and a pleasure to be around.

This is a full time term time only position available from 4th Sept 2025, and a job share will be considered for the right candidates.

About the role

If you are highly organised with an attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills then this is the perfect opportunity for you to make a genuine difference to all pupils at Brill! The role is full-time term-time only (job share considered for the right candidates). You will consistently work closely with the staff and the successful candidate will join the school in making further improvements to what is already an Ofsted rated 'Good' school.

About you

We are looking for someone with the following skills and abilities:

Essential Requirements:
• Effective time management, organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of MS office suite.
• A warm and positive approach with all members of the school community.
• An understanding of the need for confidentiality and sensitivity.

Desirable Skills:
• Experience and knowledge of Arbor MIS system.
• First Aid training.
