Overview
The children, staff and Governors of Marlow C of E Infant School are looking to appoint a creative, imaginative, enthusiastic and experienced practitioner to work mornings for 18.75 hours per week, term time only, from September 2025. The post will be working in the Special Educational Needs team and providing social, emotional, educational and welfare support across the school.

About the role
Working under guidance of the SENCo, plan and implement programmes of learning for individuals and groups of children across the school. To provide social, emotional, educational and welfare support for all children. Working within the learning framework set by the SENCo and class teachers, assist in the whole planning cycle and with the management and preparation of resources for interventions and lessons. To provide cover for whole classes as and when appropriate. Ensure that all pupils have equality of access to opportunities to learn and develop. Model the school values and encourage the demonstration of the school Christian Vision, ensuring that all are treated as individuals, with dignity and respect. To act as an integral part of the Special Educational Needs team and as part of the whole staff team.
About you
• Have at least Level 4 qualification or the willingness to undertake the qualificaton
• Have good knowledge, understanding and experience of Special Educational Needs
• Be highly motivated and work well as part of a team
• Have had the experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs in Reception and Key Stage 1
• Have a caring and calm attitude
• Have good communication skills
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to work under own initiative and respond to the needs of the pupils
