About you
The person we are seeking will have:
• Enthusiasm, flexibility, motivation and a “can do” attitude
• Proven experience in building maintenance, cleaning and general caretaking skills
• An understanding of health and safety and site security requirements
• A smart appearance, a confident nature and an ability to communicate with colleagues, contractors and visitors effectively
• Excellent time management skills and will be able to identify and complete additional tasks using their own initiative in addition to set duties
• The ability to perform effectively under pressure
• A sense of humour and cheerful disposition

We take our responsibilities in relation to child protection very seriously. Access to the site is closely monitored. All staff receive regular training and updates on their obligations with regard to child protection and safeguarding. The school works closely with partner agencies such as Barnado’s, the Police and the Local Authority to ensure young people are kept safe.
