We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and knowledgeable School Business Manager to join our team at Oakley. The School Business Manager role is a crucial one within our small village school, managing the school's finances, human resources, facilities, and operations, ensuring the school runs smoothly and effectively.

Oakley CE Combined is a small village school with approximately 100 children, situated in the beautiful village of Oakley, Buckinghamshire. Our Christian values are at the heart of everything that we do to support our children develop intellectually, physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

Salary Type: Bucks pay

Salary details: Bucks band 5 (£33,158.00 - £35,725.00)

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours a week, 42 weeks a year

About the role

The role is a term time only, permanent one working 37 hours per week for 42 weeks per year, including school inset days.

About you

We’d love to hear from you if you,
• Are an experienced School Business Manager or have had similar roles in operational and strategic management of finance, payroll, contract management/premises, H&S, HR
• Have competent financial skills to manage the school budget, and understand and analyse data
• Are efficient and effective in your working practices and able to prioritise well
• Are an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills who can foster strong relationships with our pupils, staff, parents and our wider school community verbally and in writing
• A kind and caring person, who supports our Christian ethos and school vision of ‘Mighty oaks from little acorns grow’.
