Do you want to make a difference? We are looking for someone who can become a Learning Support Assistant at Oakridge School and help us achieve our vision of enhancing the life chances of all Oakridge pupils. The role may be in Early Years, KS1 or KS2 - We are open to listen to your preference. It does not matter if you don’t have any school experience - we just need someone who is committed and is good at engaging with children.

Term time only

Salary Type: Bucks pay

Salary details: Pay range 1 (6-10) £23, 297 - £24, 223 pro rata (£17 024 -£17 701 actual)

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 8:30 - 3:30

About the role

Our inclusive and multicultural school requires a motivated, friendly and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support pupils throughout the school. You will be joining our passionate and committed team of learning Support Assistants at the school, supporting either individuals or groups of children with their learning. You will be working within a supportive year group team and will be given a thorough induction and relevant training to be effective in your role. 

About you

We want someone who is passionate about developing the life chances of children and someone who is a positive, team player. You do not need any previous experience in school, but you do need to like children! You must be open-minded and adaptable to develop your own learning. We have supported many of our LSAs to become teachers, so if you are thinking of a career in teaching this may be the perfect first step for you.
