We are looking for a HLTA who is passionate about outdoor learning and can support Key Stage 1, and run Forest School sessions across the school.
Experience and skills in this area would be desirable; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
This is a term-time only, plus Inset days to start as soon as possible.

About the role
The HLTA will:
• Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils
• Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
• Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement
• be responsible for, plan and oversee the day to day delivery, organisation and smooth running of Forest Schools programmes.
About you
We are looking for:
• GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and maths
• First-aid training, or willingness to complete it
• Level 3 Forest Schools Programme Leadership Certificate (or at least Level 2 working towards Level 3), or willingness to complete
• Experience working in a school environment or other educational setting
• Experience working with children / young people
• Experience planning and delivering learning activities
• Experience of planning and leading teaching and learning activities (under supervision)
