Overview
We wish to appoint an experienced, hardworking and committed School Administrator who will be responsible for the efficient management of a range of key systems and procedures.
Experience of working in an administrative capacity in a school and a working knowledge of SIMS, Excel and Word are desirable, but in any event full training will be given.
As you will be a point of contact for our many visitors, governors, parents, pupils and staff, excellent interpersonal skills are essential. You will be organised, reliable, flexible and able to operate under pressure. You will need excellent time and people management, communication and IT skills. You will handle sensitive and confidential data and must therefore be able to work with integrity and discretion.

About the role
ROLE SUMMARY:
• The School Office Administrator will act as the initial point of contact for parents/carers, visitors and others, so will be an ambassador for the school and embody the value, vision and ethos of the school in all interactions.
• They are responsible for overseeing the daily administration of the school office. They are also responsible for all administrative and organisational processes within the school, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
• To have responsibility for the provision of efficient administrative and clerical support for the school and Senior Leadership Team. Supporting and promoting the smooth, effective and efficient running of the school office
About you
Qualifications and Experience
• GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths grade C or above.
• Substantial and proven experience of relevant administration management.
• Evidence of continuing professional development. Have experience of working in an office environment in an administrative role.
• Ability to use word processing, spreadsheets and databases and other office software packages to include management information systems to a high standard.
• Experience of work as a School Administrator or Manager in a school.
• NVQ3 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (or working towards)
• Have knowledge of Buckinghamshire Council’s systems including SIMS, Evolve and School Comms
• Knowledge of Buckinghamshire’s policies and procedures.
• Qualification in School Business Management or equivalent
• HR qualifications or experience
