About us

Our EYFS is a large setting, catering for 15x Two-Year-Olds, 52x Three and Four 4-Year-Olds and 60x Reception children. We are a hygge-inspired setting with an open-ended curiosity approach to our learning. We believe in allowing children to develop their imagination, are led by their play in provision and encourage them to think outside of the box. We make the most of our wonderful outdoor environments and the children enjoy weekly ‘Awe and Wonder’ Walks.
A huge investment is being made in developing provision here at Elmhurst. We are well-resourced with reliable technology, a super team of staff and we provide ongoing, high-quality and relevant continuous professional development.

Our GLT motto is ‘Inspiring Excellence | Inspiring Futures’, which reflects the determination of the Trust to expect great things for all our children, whatever their prior attainment.
