As the Finance Department is continually expanding, IAT is seeking to appoint an approachable, motivated and conscientious individual to join our friendly team as a Finance Officer. We are looking to appoint a Finance Officer who will support the Ashmead Combined School 1-2 days per week. The other days will be based at the IAT Headquarters supporting the Central Team.

About the role

The Finance Officer will work under the Senior Finance Officer and other Finance staff to ensure the timely transaction processing and delivery of management accounts, government data submissions and statutory reports.

The postholder will need to effectively use SAGE Intacct the main finance system for IAT and the key part of the post will be to build positive relationships with the Finance team, to effectively work within their sub-team and it is essential to work within the confines of the IAT scheme of delegation.

About you

As a Finance Officer you will be a crucial member of our Finance team.

You should have significant accounting experience, and a sound understanding of financial regulations and their application in a large and complex environment, ideally in the education sector.
