We are seeking individuals to join our committed team of Teaching Assistants to help our young people realise their potential. You will be part of our specialist SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) team, which is dedicated to delivering the correct support to individual students. SEND students are at the heart of our academy and this role is integral to helping some of our most vulnerable students to succeed. This could be support in lessons or working 1:1 on targeted areas of support.

Salary Type: Bucks pay

Salary details: Bucks Pay Range 2 - 3 (Actual salary £19,111 - £27,504 per annum

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Mon, Wed & Fri 8:30am -3:30pm and Tues & Thur 8:30am -4:00pm

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

Working collaboratively with subject teachers to ensure students’ progress in individual subjects
Acting as a positive role model both socially and academically
Helping to foster and develop positive relationships with staff and peers
Being flexible to meet the dynamic needs of the SEND department on a daily basis
Identifying personal training needs and attending appropriate internal and external training
Being involved in maintaining records, undertaking assessment and evaluating identified students’ needs
Ensuring inclusive practice and equality of opportunity for all

You do not need to have had any previous experience of this work - comprehensive training is provided - but the following qualities will be beneficial:
