Winslow Church of England School is a popular two form entry primary school in the centre of Winslow although we also welcome children from surrounding villages. Winslow is a small market town on the border of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes with easy access to Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire.

About the role
We are looking to recruit a full time lower KS2 class teacher. Your responsibilities will include:
• Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class, ensuring the highest possible standards in work and behaviour and providing equality of opportunity for all.
• Be a positive role model in terms of behaviour, work and attitude, setting high expectations.
• Plan and teach programmes of work in accordance with the National Curriculum in conjunction with colleagues in the same key stage, ensuring progression across the age and ability range, meets the needs of individual learners.
• Observe, assess, monitor and record the progress and attainment of all pupils in the class.
• Set homework and plan other out-of-class activities to consolidate and extend the knowledge and understanding pupils have acquired as appropriate.
• Be committed to supporting extra-curricular activies.
• Foster excellent relationships and encourage the involvement and support of parents, governors, community and other agencies
