Overview

Reception Class Teacher (part time Wednesday – Friday with the possibility of additional hours covering PPA in Key Stage 1)

We are a small and friendly school set within a lovely rural setting and are looking to employ an inspirational part time Reception class teacher to cover maternity leave. You will join our welcoming and outstanding EYFS team working alongside another Reception teacher.

The successful candidate will have the highest expectations of our children and a desire to develop the whole child. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and have a clear understanding of how to raise standards. They will have a keen sense of humour and the ability to enthuse and motivate.

Term time only

Salary Type: MPS

Hours: Part time - 3 days a week, Wednesday - Friday

About us

Dropmore Infant School is a small, friendly school in an idyllic rural setting, which has educated children in the local area for over 200 years. It is surrounded by open countryside with a large playing field and landscaped areas including an adventure playground, pond, vegetable plots, orchard and wild flower area. The school has benefited from much refurbishment and improvement over the recent years, but still retains its unique charm with the old thatched roof building.

About the role

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about nurturing every child and has high expectations and aspirations for their future. This is a class teacher position to cover maternity until July 2025. Experienced candidates will be required to lead a subject which will be negotiated on appointment.
