Inspiring Futures Partnership Trust has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated SCITT Operations Administrator to join our enthusiastic, hardworking SCITT team. The successful applicant will have excellent teamwork and communication skills, have strong administration and organisational skills, be flexible, a self-starter, kind and proactive.

Salary: Bucks Pay Range 3 - 4, depending on experience

Hours of Work: 32.5 hours per week, flexible working available

Contract: Permanent

Weeks: Term time, flexible working available

Chepping View Primary Academy SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) is an expanding and specialist primary teacher training provider, we are part of Inspiring Futures Partnership Trust and are proud to be based at of Chepping View Primary Academy, an extremely popular, oversubscribed and Ofsted Outstanding primary academy, National Support School and National Teaching School.

Chepping View Primary Academy SCITT offers primary school teacher training in South Bucks, centred around High Wycombe, giving graduate trainees a high-quality primary school-based teacher training programme. Our course leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and an optional Postgraduate Certificate in Education. School placements are completed in High Wycombe, Marlow and other areas of Buckinghamshire.

About the role

Job Purpose:

To provide excellent levels of administrative and partnership service support across our School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme:

  • Work as an integral part of the SCITT Team
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the SCITT
  • Be the first point of contact for trainees, partner schools, external agencies and other contacts
  • To provide high quality support as part of a committed, friendly and flexible team including one other administrator.

Key responsibilities include:

  • General Administration
  • Marketing and creative communications
  • GDPR responsibilities, including management of our database and records
  • Support with trainee recruitment, selection and induction processes
  • General finance
  • Partnership School support
  • Oversight of trainee data using DfE portals

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a good team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Is self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent IT skills with social media and website maintenance experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
