Salary Type: Bucks pay

Salary details: £20,297-£21,223 pa (£13,801 - £14,431) pro rata

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 30.42 hours per week (5 days), 8.40am-3.15pm

Winslow Church of England School is a popular two form entry primary school in the centre of Winslow although we also welcome children from surrounding villages. About the role

We are looking to recruit an LSA who can build excellent relationships with our children. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the vision and values of the school
• Supporting the class teacher and working closely with them to deliver learning
• Preparing the classroom and associated area ready for use
• Assisting with the general management of children and resources
• Working with children on specific activities
• Supervising children at break and lunch
• Fostering supportive relationships with the children within the school

Building a rapport with our children to support them with all aspects of school life is essential. At the heart of everything we do is a desire to make a real difference to our children's lives.

About you

The successful candidate should have the following skills:

• A good level of English and Maths
• Sensitivity and understanding to build good relationships with our children
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• An active listener who is proactive and compassionate in their work
• Good interpersonal skills to build a rapport with our children
• Experience of working with children in a learning environment
• The flexibility to work in partnership with all staff
