Our award-winning nurturing school (Ofsted rated Good, last inspection July 2025) is looking for the right person, with the right ethos, to join our happy, forward-thinking community. We are seeking to appoint an After School Club Assistant who shares our values of caring, curiosity and courage as well as our commitment to nurturing lifelong learners.

Term time only: Yes

Start date: As soon as possible (subject to the successful receipt of DBS and reference checks)

Salary: BP 1B.6-1B.10 depending on experience, £8,000 - £8,300 per year (£12.44 to £12.93 per hour)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part time, Monday to Friday 2:45pm – 5:45pm

About the role

This role involves the supervision of pupils (aged 4-7) after school hours. The After School Club Assistant will be responsible for planning and preparing activities as well as supervising free play, organising snacks, and liaison with parents. You will be working with another member of staff.

About you

  • Minimum of English and Maths GCSE
  • You will also ideally have experience of working or volunteering with children and working as part of a team.
