Salary details: Bucks Pay Range 3 FTE £27,310 to £29,295 depending on experience. Estimated actual salary (based on 52 weeks) £14,462 - £15,835 approximately.

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 20 hours per week

About the role

• Daily operational supervision of the team of cleaning operatives.
• Maintaining health and safety and risk assessment standards, reporting any failures.
• Arranging work schedules, managing cover for absence of cleaning operatives.
• Submitting cleaners’ weekly timesheets to the Finance/HR Office.
• Monitoring cleaning duties, carrying out quality audits and monitoring performance.
• Conducting performance appraisals of the team of cleaning operatives.
• Taking part in the recruitment and selection process for new cleaning operatives.
• Inducting and training new members of the cleaning team and providing toolbox talks.
• Monitoring, managing and authorising annual leave of cleaning operatives.
• Undertaking cleaning of allocated areas in line with specified standards and as directed.

About you

We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor who will be responsible for leading a team of cleaning operatives to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the school.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills to deliver a safe and healthy environment for pupils and staff.
