About us

Leap is the Sport England funded Active Partnership for Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes. A social enterprise, our role is to support, influence and improve opportunities for people living in Bucks & MK to be active through movement, physical activity, and sport. We influence and work with a wide range of local organisations including schools, sports clubs, and charities to ensure those people not currently accessing/benefitting from physical activity can get involved.

Leap has a passionate belief that everyone can improve the quality of their life through involvement in movement, physical activity, and sport. Our partnership’s ambition is to inspire and connect people and organisations to raise aspiration and remove the barriers to an active and healthy lifestyle.

About the role

Leap is looking for a passionate, collaborative, and dedicated individual to join the team.

Within the role, the officer will be responsible for supporting Leap’s vision and mission to remove the barriers to moving by challenging inequalities and improving lives through physical activity and sport.

The post holder will work on the organisations Children & Young People and Coaching programmes. Examples of these programmes could be, leadership and volunteering, helping coaches improve and the County School Games events

The successful candidate will be passionate about the impact movement, physical activity and sport can have on improving lives.

Any-Desk:

As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements*.

About the Business Unit

Our Communities directorate work across the county to deliver a number of the key customer facing services that our residents, businesses and visitors rely on every day. This includes collecting and disposing of waste, maintaining highways and managing country parks, leisure facilities, museums, theatres and libraries, as well as developing our cultural strategy. The customer is central to how we develop and deliver all of these services, which help promote our rich and vibrant culture.
